Managing Your Metron

Do you feel trapped in the ordinary? Do you often feel like you should be doing something extraordinary but your day job is in the way? When you discover God’s original design for vocation, then the ordinary becomes extraordinary!

We are created in the image and likeness of our Father God, the ultimate creator and builder of all things. God worked, and now we work. Work is spiritual and was ordained before the Fall. It is not a result of sin or a form of punishment. Vocation is the very means through which God intends to build his Kingdom. Managing your Metron will provide you a practical theology of work, mission, and meaning. Click here to see the table of contents of Managing Your Metron, purchase below:

Faith And Five Dollars

I found myself immersed in the post cold war Soviet Union during a time of tremendous brokenness and dire spiritual need. God had called me to do something about the desperate condition of the young people in this hurting area of the world but the challenges were insurmountable. I was traveling on a one-way ticket to Russia and a five dollar bill in my pocket, not sure that I would even find a way home much less succeed in my assignment. There were still four months and six countries to navigate and I found myself walking the only road available… the road of radical faith, obedience and miracles.

Outreach Matters

From Ukraine to the Himalayas and from Albania to India, here are 20 years of mission lessons learned and principles lived. Jonathan Nowlen takes you on a journey to discover the keys to successful outreach. These missional stories and principles are derived from over 200 outreaches led and 60 countries travelled.
These 17 principles for successful missions are highlighted as a key to the success of any person's or team's mission or outreach endeavor. Each principle is illustrated through the telling of radical true life spiritual adventures, bringing vital scripture into focus as Jonathan seeks to equip teams, individuals and leaders to succeed in their mission efforts.
